What book made you cry the most?
Admit it, every now and then it feels great to have a good cry. And some of us love to find a book that moves us so much that we are driven to tears. I pretty much have a rule of thumb for finding these books (aside from just looking for booklists marked as tearjerkers). Pick up a good looking book and flip it over. Read the description the publisher has provided. Do you see the word "poignant" on there? Then there is a good chance this book will make you cry. I think it is publish code. Even when reading the most hilarious book, when I find myself suddenly sniffling, I've taken a look, and sure enough it was described as both humorous and poignant.
My favorite weeper? The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. 518 hundred pages, and I wept through the last 100 both times I read it. Call me a sap, but it was beautiful, and poignant.
