We only have one copy at Sno-Isle now, but Providence of a Sparrow is a favorite bird book of mine. The author Chris Chester passed away unexpectedly right as it was receiving acclaim around Oregon about 10 years ago. I'm glad he was aware of its success. Thank you for this posting!
Have you read H is for Hawk yet? I've been hearing great things about it.
H is for Hawk is a great story (and the cover is beautiful). There is a long holds list but it is worth the wait.
Have you read The Big Year, by Mark Obmascik? We only have one copy but it's a great read.
