Confession: I recently watched Austenland on a plane and it got me thinking about iconic book settings and if I'd ever travel to one like Jane did in Austenland (which is also a fabulous book). While I'm not obsessed with Mr. Darcy nor interested in traveling to the Regency-era, there are a few settings I wouldn't mind visiting including1960's Norvelt, Pennsylvania as portrayed in Dead End in Norvelt by Jack Gantos and 2044 in Ernest Cline's Ready Player One. What fictional setting would you like to travel to?

Good question! The first thing that pops to mind is the space station in Tin Star by Cecil Castellucci, which I just read. The place itself is harsh and barely livable, but the variety of aliens that live there would be fascinating to meet!
I'd like the moors of Wuthering Heights & Emily's Ghost, OR the island in Caleb's Crossing, which we know today as Martha's Vineyard. (But I'd like to take along my modern conveniences!)
I'd love to go the Shetland Islands, which I already visit via Ann Cleeves' Shetland mystery series. My husband and I even went so far as to look into visiting during the annual Up Helly Aa festival in January. Maybe someday...
