Question of the Week

Are you ready to cozy up with a good book?

On my way to work today I noticed a flurry of golden leaves floating on the breeze.  Like it or not, summer is waning and autumn is on the horizon.  On the plus side, there's no better time to hunker down with a good book and a cup of tea (or some other beverage).

Here are a few suggested fall reads:

The Perfect Afternoon Tea Recipe Book by Antony Wild
What could be better than sipping a cup of tea while reading a book about afternoon tea and accompanying treats?  Find the perfect recipe for tea sandwiches, scones, fairy cakes and more.  Delicious!

The Queen's Diamonds by Hugh Roberts
Nothing brightens a dreary day quite like diamonds.  Discover the provenance of Her Majesty's most well-known jewels.  Who knew that crowns, coronets, and tiaras were different?  The history and mechanics related to each bauble is also quite interesting.

Twelve Drummers Drumming by C.C. Benison
Get cozy with a traditional cozy mystery.  The main character in this series is named Tom Christmas.  He's the vicar for the local church.  Yes, he's actually called "Father Christmas."  When a huge Japanese o-daiko drum is vandalized, and a body discovered inside, Father Christmas must find the killer.

What are you looking forward to reading this fall?
